AI Systems Architecture · Built in Mandurah · Deployed Australia-wide

Stop running your business out of spreadsheets.

We engineer custom AI web applications that turn your messiest workflows - quoting, scheduling, reporting - into one-click operations. No chatbot duct tape. No SaaS rental. You own the code.

4 Blueprint Sessions per month. Currently booking 6 weeks out.
You own the code Australian data sovereignty Fixed scope · fixed price

Engineered for $2M–$10M operators in Construction, Manufacturing & Professional Services.

The Architecture

Your messy data on the left. Clean outcomes on the right.

The Kevra Layer is custom software we engineer for your business - not a chatbot, not a Zapier flow. The interface, the logic, the intelligence. Built once. Owned by you.

One workflow live in 4–6 weeks. Multiple workflows in 12. Always your code, in your repo, on your hosting.

What We Build

Workflows our buyers actually have.

Three industries, the same problem: messy inputs, clean outputs, and 12+ hours a week stuck in between. Pick yours.

Workflow 01

Site notes → compliant quote

Voice memo or photo from site. AI extracts measurements, flags compliance items, drafts a quote in your tone. You review and send.

Workflow 02

Subbie tracking + payments

Auto-reconcile subbie invoices against POs. Flag overruns. Trigger payment runs in Xero. No more spreadsheet-chasing on Sundays.

Workflow 03

Variation logging

Site instructions become tracked variations the moment they're recorded. No "I told you that three weeks ago" arguments at handover.

~14 hours/week per estimator. · Typical first-build payback: 6 weeks.

Don't see your industry? The architecture is the same - only the workflows change. Most $2M-$10M operators have 3-5 of these regardless of sector.

The Numbers

Run your own ROI.

Pick one workflow you currently do manually. We'll show you what it costs and how fast a build pays back.

Conservative model: assumes the build automates 70% of the workflow time. Most clients see closer to 85% in practice. Numbers are indicative - your Blueprint Report quantifies exactly.

Why Operators Trust Us

Five things every other agency won't put in writing.

01

You talk to the engineer.

No account managers. No offshore teams. Mick Lutton - the person who scopes your build is the person who ships it.

02

Australian data residency.

Hosted on SOC 2-certified infrastructure (Vercel + Supabase Sydney region). Your database, files, and logs stay in Australia. AI provider calls routed with full audit logs.

03

You own the code.

Git repository handover at delivery. Database schema, prompt library, deployment configs - yours. No vendor lock. No SaaS hostage taking.

04

Lighthouse 100. Verified live.

The page you're on right now. Sub-second loads. Zero bloat. We don't ship apps that wait on a spinner.

05

Fixed scope. Fixed price. Fixed date.

No "discovery phase" billing forever. The Blueprint defines the build. The build ships when it ships - on the date we agreed.

06

If we're not the right fit, we say so.

The Blueprint Session has one of three honest endings: build with us, build with someone else, or don't build it yet. You keep the report either way.

You own your configuration. We own the engine.

Your data, branding, custom workflow logic, and specific deployment are yours exclusively - never shared, sold, or shown to another client. The underlying engine and reusable components stay ours, and we apply them across our practice. That's exactly how you get enterprise-grade software at SMB pricing.

Disclosed up-front because hidden reuse is how trust dies in this industry.

The Honest Bit

Six things you're already worried about.

We get asked these every Blueprint Session. Here are the straight answers.

What if the AI hallucinates and I send a wrong quote? +

Every output passes deterministic validation rules you define. AI drafts; your business logic gates what ships. We also build human-review steps into anything client-facing by default. The AI is a writer, not a sender.

What if you get hit by a bus? +

Code, prompts, and infrastructure documentation are handed over at delivery. Any competent Astro/TypeScript developer can take over. We document for the worst case so you're never hostage to one engineer - even me.

Why not just use Zapier or n8n? +

Zapier breaks when an integration's API changes and can't hold business logic that requires real context (your historical jobs, your tone of voice, your edge cases). It's duct tape that works until it doesn't. We build software, not workflows-pretending-to-be-software.

Why not just hire a developer? +

A mid-level developer in Perth costs $130K/year plus super, plus 6 months of ramp-up. We deliver a working system in 6 weeks for less than 2 months of that salary - and you don't carry the headcount risk if the project ends. Hire later, when you have a team to lead.

What about my existing software (Xero, MYOB, simPRO)? +

We integrate with it. Your existing tools become inputs to the system, not things we replace. Most builds reduce data entry into existing software, not eliminate it. You don't switch accountants because we built you a quoting tool.

What if I want changes after launch? +

Two paths. The Pilot Retainer covers ongoing changes for $1,490/month. Or pay per scope when something needs doing. Either way you own the codebase, so you can hand it to anyone - including a future in-house team. No SaaS hostage situations.

The Engineer

Mick Lutton - Systems Architect, Kevra.

I started Kevra because I was tired of watching small Australian operators get sold either rented SaaS they didn't need or bespoke consulting they couldn't afford. The middle ground - actual custom software, owned, at SMB pricing - barely exists.

I'm building it now because the tooling finally allows it. AI hasn't replaced engineers; it's let one disciplined engineer ship what used to take a team of five. That maths is the only reason this offer is possible at $4,500 instead of $45,000.

I won't sell you AI you don't need. The Blueprint will tell you straight whether this is worth doing. If it isn't, you've spent $495 and saved yourself a $25,000 mistake.

Furnissdale, Western Australia. Builder of kevra.au and the Crumbology platform.

Discuss in Blueprint

FAQ

Honest answers.

How long does a typical build actually take? +

4–6 weeks for a single workflow build. 10–14 weeks for an Operating System with multiple workflows and integrations. Both are fixed dates set in the Blueprint, not "ranges that slip."

What are the payment terms? +

50% on commencement, 50% on delivery. Larger Operating System builds split into three milestone payments. Bank transfer or card. GST inclusive.

What happens if a build fails to deliver? +

The scope is fixed in the Blueprint, so "fail to deliver" almost always means "scope grew during the build." If we hit a real engineering blocker we couldn't have foreseen, we either find a workaround within the original scope or refund the unbuilt portion. We've structured it so the risk sits with us, not you.

What are the ongoing costs after launch? +

Hosting (typically $40–120/month direct to AWS or Vercel - paid by you, not us), AI API usage (typically $50–400/month depending on volume), and optional Pilot Retainer ($1,490/month). Bare minimum to keep the lights on: ~$100/month.

Which AI models do you use? +

Whichever fits the workflow. Claude (Anthropic) for nuanced reasoning and tone-matching. GPT (OpenAI) for structured extraction. Local models for sensitive data. Often a mix per workflow. We choose based on accuracy and cost for your specific job, not on what's trendy.

Where is my data stored? +

AWS Sydney by default. Database, files, logs - all Australia-resident. AI provider calls (Anthropic/OpenAI) are routed through our infrastructure with full audit logs. We can specify zero-retention contracts with providers on request.

Can I delete my data and walk away? +

Yes. You own the database, the codebase, and your data. We can deliver an export and delete our copy on 30 days' notice. Standard right in the contract - not something you have to fight for.

Do you sign NDAs? +

Yes, mutual NDAs are standard before the Blueprint Session if you'd like one. We share ours; happy to sign yours.

Who owns the IP? +

You own: your data, your branding, your custom workflow logic, your specific deployment. We retain: the underlying engine, reusable components, and patterns we've built across our practice. Spelled out in the contract - see the trust stack disclosure above.

Can we start small and add later? +

Yes - most clients do. The First Workflow tier is designed to be the smallest useful build. Once it's running and proven, we scope the next workflow. Each one builds on the same foundation, so the second workflow is faster and cheaper than the first.

Do you only work with WA businesses? +

No. WA is home and we travel for in-person Blueprints across Mandurah/Peel and Perth. Anywhere else in Australia, the Blueprint runs over video and the build is identical.

What if I want a lower upfront with monthly payments instead? +

Possible. We offer a "Powered by Kevra" subscription option for clients who'd rather a smaller setup fee + monthly. It's not on the public pricing because most operators prefer ownership - but bring it up in the Blueprint and we'll quote both side-by-side.

What's your security review process before launch? +

Every build goes through: Snyk dependency + SAST scanning, SonarCloud static analysis, Supabase Advisors for RLS and database security lints, an adversarial RLS test suite that runs on every commit, and a public securityheaders.com scan we hold to A+. For builds at the Operating System tier or with regulated data (health, legal, financial), we commission an external penetration test from an Australian firm and bake the cost into your quote - disclosed up-front, not billed after.

What's the largest build you take on solo? When do you bring in a partner? +

Honest answer: First Workflow tier ($4,500–$12,500) I deliver solo with the security stack above. For Operating System builds ($25K+) or anything with deep multi-system integrations, I scope a vetted engineering partner into the build and disclose it in your quote. You still talk to me - I remain the architect, the single point of contact, and the person accountable for delivery. The partner is on the tools where the risk justifies it. No mystery offshoring, no whitewash.

The Next Step

Your competitors are still quoting by hand.

Spend 90 minutes with us. Walk out with a Blueprint that pays back in weeks - or a clear answer that you don't need this yet. Either way, you know.

Refunded in full if we don't identify at least 10× the fee in annual savings, measured against a baseline we document together during the session. Credited fully against any build. No fine print.

No spam, ever. Your details stay between us.
